Chelsea and Jamie
Chelsea grew up on an apple farm in Eastern WA and after she and I found a pile of vintage apple label postcards in a roadside antique store we decided to design their Orcas Island wedding with a country, organic theme based around apples. A hands-on bride, Chelsea made the burlap table runners, spent a weekend sewing pennant flags, collected crates of coveted blue mason jars and vintage bottles and glued lace cutout blue paper onto recycled cans for centerpieces. Using a loose color scheme of blue and orange, I added lots of country elements to the flowers – blackberries, Queen Anne’s lace, blue thistle and twine. The highlight of the day was the "tattooed" apples we used as escort cards. Check out the blog to see how we made them.
