Lara and Eric
Lara and Eric’s wedding took place in a lovely park in West Seattle overlooking the Seattle skyline and the Puget Sound. Lara works in PR for a Seattle based fashion retailer and as an elegant and stylish lady, had a definite idea about how her wedding to Eric should look. Loose, organic arrangements in shades of chartreuse and eggplant popped beautifully against the bridesmaids’ black dresses with a more traditional white, green and blush bouquet for Lara. Eric made the ceremony arch himself – a beautiful masterpiece of twisted willow – but when we arrived at the park to decorate it, the arch wouldn’t stand by itself on the uneven ground. My husband came to the rescue, racing off to the hardware store and returning with stakes that he hammered into the ground on either side of the arch. The poppy pods in Lara’s bouquet have since become one of the most requested floral elements among my clients.
