Rustic Romance
The inspiration for this romantic, rustic styled shoot was a ruffled hem wedding dress by Seattle designer Chrissy Wai-Ching. I wanted to contrast the brick walls and exposed beams of Melrose Market Studios with soft, organic bouquets and centerpieces. I used lace, birch bark candles, silver teapots and mercury glass with lots of vintage touches for the table decor which was set off beautifully by a hand-made mason jar chandelier. Burlap and vintage crates acted as the cake table and even the cake had a ruffled hem. Ranunculus, garden roses, parrot tulips, jasmine and orange blossom in soft pastel pink, cream and green filled the room with a beautiful scent and a cascading bouquet added just enough drama.
