National MS Society: Dinner of Champions
With a theme like Inspire & Innovate the pressure was on to design a show stopping event for the National MS Society! The color palette was determined by the invitation design and coordinated perfectly with the colors of the Grand Hyatt's ballroom. I used blue thistle, orange Mokara orchids and protea as the primary floral elements because they have a bold sculptural look that popped against the modern, minimal black glass vases. Other design elements included an orange carpet in front of a step and repeat banner, blue silk drapes to hide the after-party area and gobos of the event logo projected in the reception area and the main ballroom.
