Seattle Metropolitan Bride & Groom
Seattle Metropolitan Bride & Groom is a gorgeous, high-end wedding magazine published four times a year in Washington. Each issue features a tablescape per season by four different designers and I was asked to design the summer table for the Winter/Spring 2010 and Spring/Summer 2010 issues. The only requirements were that I had a floral element, an edible element and professionally designed stationary. Oh, and because the editors were in love with the yellow craspedia (billy balls), that I somehow incorporate those in the design. I chose magenta to complement the yellow of the craspedia because it was an unexpected choice and I loved the pop of color against the neutral burlap tablecloth and recycled glass plates.
